Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Buckern (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Tridant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Buckern had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.7lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Tyson Tridant is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Santos is looking to clinch but Jackson is avoiding it.
A telegraphed right hand from Santos misses the target.
Jackson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Santos's waist but Santos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jackson off to one side.

Santos shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jackson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Santos manages to get himself to full guard.

Santos had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Santos Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jackson's back instead.
You can see the frustration on Jackson's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
