Cruz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kalas manages to get himself to full guard.

Cruz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Kalas has his foot on Cruz's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Cruz works his way back into a safe position though.

Cruz wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kalas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cruz is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Kalas is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Cruz has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Cruz!
