Assman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vladivostok pinned against the cage. Vladivostok gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Vladivostok throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Assman on the side of the head.
Vladivostok throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Assman stumbling backwards into the cage! Assman bounces back off the cage towards Vladivostok, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Vladivostok lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Vladivostok celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Stinky throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Carter looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Stinky tries a head kick but it misses.
Carter tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stinky swivels and escapes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Stinky shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Carter's guard.
Stinky slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Stinky misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Stinky working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Carter doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Stinky is tightening it up a little... Carter has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Carter reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Carter taps out! nice BJJ there by Stinky!
