Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Banzai Bunji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bunji might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to One More Time. Denny Crane will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Crane misses its intended target.

Crane throws a jab but it's blocked by Bunji.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bunji cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Bunji is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Bunji gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Bunji gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Bunji apologises and we restart here on the feet.

It looks like Banzai Bunji has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Crane drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Crane jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Oh Bunji is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Crane drops back, looking for a kneebar! Bunji looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Bunji looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Bunji!
