The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Penn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Breaker looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The referee asks Penn politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Penn prefers to stall for the moment though.
Penn could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Breaker defending against the ground and pound.

Breaker dodges the ground and pound from Penn.

Penn is working to tighten is grip on Breaker's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Breaker has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Penn is really squeezing tight and eventually Breaker passes out! Penn breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mo throws a hook but Dos Velas avoids it easily.

Dos Velas connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Mo tumbling to the canvas! Dos Velas pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Mo was done - good stoppage!

Amber feints and as Alantra raises his hands in defense, Amber changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Alantra had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Amber is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Alantra Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Amber's back instead.
Amber is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Amber staying busy and making it hard for Alantra to control.
Amber is trying to stand back up.

Alantra is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Amber has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Alantra looks gassed!

Alantra tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Alantra has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Amber is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Alantra asserts his dominance and retains side control.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Alantra closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Alantra lands in his opponent's guard.

Alantra drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Amber manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Alantra has Amber in his guard.

Amber wants to get up but he can't break Alantra's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Alantra is on top in guard.

Alantra drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Amber dives on top into guard.
Amber wants to stand but Alantra has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Alantra isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Amber stacks Alantra on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Amber!
