Hansen is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Hansen slips under a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Ariyoshi misses the target.
Hansen tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ariyoshi paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hansen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Hansen gets caught flat footed, as Ariyoshi shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hansen throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Hansen doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Ariyoshi is pushing down on Hansen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hansen is fighting to maintain full guard but Ariyoshi has managed to sneak the leg through.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ariyoshi tries to pass the half guard into mount. Hansen knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Ariyoshi prevents Hansen from improving his position.
Hansen misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Ariyoshi works his foot free and advances to mount.

Ariyoshi is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Hansen is surviving well by controlling Ariyoshi's body position as best he can.

Ariyoshi is looking to stand but Ariyoshi has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
Ariyoshi wants to take his opponent's back but Hansen doesn't allow it.
Hansen slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Hansen is trying to escape the mount but Ariyoshi keeps good control and instead manages to take Hansen's back.

Hansen breaks Ariyoshi's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hansen working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Hansen postures up and lands a big shot to Ariyoshi's brow.
Hansen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ariyoshi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hansen prevents Ariyoshi from getting back to his feet.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Ariyoshi has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hansen doesn't defend quickly enough and Ariyoshi has managed to lock this one up! Can Hansen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ariyoshi on a fantastic submission victory.
