Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Well, with Mehwadi on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Carter is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Mehwadi has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Carter has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Mehwadi is not going to allow Carter to sit and survive in this position.

Mehwadi is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Carter defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
