Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Vince Cruise!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Cruise gets a clinch.
Cruise misses with some punches.
Hoshi's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Nice body punch from Cruise - that landed with a thud.
Hoshi wants a takedown but no success here.
Hoshi keeps control of Cruise as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Cruise stalling the fight.
Cruise misses with a hook from the clinch.

Cruise breaks the clinch.

Hoshi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hoshi lands in his opponent's guard.
Cruise really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoshi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cruise wants to stand and escape but Hoshi is having none of it.

Hoshi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hoshi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Smith is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Maeda.
Maeda throws a nice inside leg kick.
Smith avoids a punch combination nicely.
Smith misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Maeda throws a series of punches but Smith avoids them all with ease.
Smith just misses with a punch to the body.
Kazunori Maeda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Maeda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Smith moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

And that's the end of the fight!
Kazunori Maeda comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.

With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mark Lloyd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Mir!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Shigeki Fujiwara and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lloyd has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Mir finds it's way round the side to connect with Lloyd's head.
Mir fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Lloyd moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Mir lands a big uppercut and Lloyd crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Lloyd looks OK. Mir waves Lloyd back to his feet!
Lloyd shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Mir counters with a nice right hand that sends Lloyd toppling to the canvas! Lloyd scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Mir finish him?!

Lloyd is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

and Mir counters with a HUGE slam that knocks Lloyd out cold!!! When he eventually wakes up, that one's gunna hurt!
