The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nicolosi just misses with a punch to the body.
McCutchen lands with a straight right. Nicolosi didn't see that one coming.

It looks like Mauricio Nicolosi has been cut.
McCutchen wants to clinch.
Nicolosi swats away the attempt to clinch by McCutchen.
McCutchen tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
A bone on bone clash there as Nicolosi blocks the leg kick.
Nicolosi shoots in and drives through. McCutchen sprawls well.
Nicolosi tries for a takedown but McCutchen sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Anfernee McCutchen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Good leg kick by McCutchen there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

That was a close second round but I would say that Mauricio Nicolosi will probably get the nod.

Zeroun has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Umak off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Umak stuffs the takedown.
Zeroun motions for Umak to come forward. Zeroun throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Umak decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Umak looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Zeroun with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Umak drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Zeroun gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Zeroun escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zeroun shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Umak but Umak pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Zeroun tries to lock up and control but Umak gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Umak lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Zeroun hang on?

Umak has hold of Zeroun's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Zeroun manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Nishan Zeroun is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Zeroun can't escape the position.
Zeroun is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Umak unloads with some shots from mount but Zeroun bucks and avoids them well.
Umak looking to ground and pound but Zeroun is blocking nicely.
Zeroun avoids a series of strikes thrown by Umak.
Umak looking to control but Zeroun is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Umak lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
