Undercard bout

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kaapo Hannuksela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aki Aromaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hannuksela kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Sex Pistols - Submission. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aromaa tries to clinch there but Hannuksela circles away.
Hannuksela fails in his attempt to clinch.
Aromaa tries a head kick but it misses.
Hannuksela shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Hannuksela gets caught flat footed, as Aromaa shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hannuksela is trying to control the position but Aromaa postures up.
Hannuksela is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Aromaa wants to get back to full guard.

Aromaa sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Hannuksela has control of Aromaa's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Aromaa regains control of the situation pretty easily.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Hannuksela here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Nathan Arkham is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Burnquist has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Arkham is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Burnquist yanks on the arm and Arkham is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Burnquist.
