The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lake closes the distance and clinches up with Vaughn, looking for a takedown. Lake pushes Vaughn against the cage but Vaughn circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Lake decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vaughn's guard.
