The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fatu throws a right and a left that both miss.
Boxe connects with a right hand. Fatu shakes it off.
Fatu throws a jab when Boxe was well out of range.
Fatu pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fatu throws a hook to the side of Boxe's head but Boxe sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Boxe shoots in for a takedown but Fatu shows good takedown defense.
No luck for Boxe with that takedown attempt.
Boxe doesn't manage to clinch there - Fatu circles away.
Fatu fails with an attempt to clinch.
Boxe falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fatu counters with a head kick.

and Fatu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Fatu decides to stand up, so the ref orders Boxe to his feet.
Boxe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Boxe tries to clinch there but Fatu circles away.
Fatu throws a sloppy head kick and Boxe moves out of range easily.

Boxe lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Boxe tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fatu swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Boxe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Fatu stands and throws Boxe's legs to the side, diving into side control.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Fatu tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Boxe.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Boxe is trying to stand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fatu decides to stand and escape the position.

Fatu is pressed up against the cage. Boxe has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fatu down to the mat. Fatu avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Fatu fails with a takedown attempt.

Boxe missing with a left hand there. Fatu was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Fatu counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Boxe is looking to stand up but Fatu isn't so interested in that idea.

Fatu fails to land with a series of punches.
Boxe dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Fatu misses the body punch
and Boxe counters with a left to the body.
Boxe is looking to clinch.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Boxe swings and misses with a hook to the body.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Fatu. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Boxe closes the distance but Fatu moves to the side
and Fatu counters with a nice uppercut.
Boxe lands a body shot.
Boxe is looking to wear down Fatu with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Fatu.
Gaviao Boxe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Relic Fatu.
Boxe looks to clinch
and Fatu counters with a head kick.
Fatu swats away the attempt to clinch by Boxe.
Gaviao Boxe seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fatu gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Fatu keeps the fight on the outside.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Gaviao Boxe will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Boxe is trying to stand back up.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Fatu has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Boxe's body.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
I really don't envy Boxe right now.
Boxe has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Fatu is not going to allow Boxe to sit and survive in this position.
Boxe is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Fatu.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Boxe is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fred Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Perry might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Lützenkirchen - Leer aber Techno. The crowd seem to be enjoying Miller's choice of entrance music: Bodies. Steven Miller is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Michaels walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Johnson scores with a punch to the head.
LeBron Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Johnson cracks Michaels with an uppercut from hell and Michaels crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Johnson's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!

Michaels is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Johnson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Johnson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Michaels is still in real trouble! Can Johnson finish him?

Johnson is nestled in close to Michaels, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
