Brooks tries to clinch up but Montgomery circles away and keeps his distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Montgomery checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Brooks throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Montgomery shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Montgomery was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brooks is wriggling around trying to escape.

Montgomery turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Montgomery manages to end up in side control.
Brooks is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Montgomery asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee asks Montgomery politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Montgomery prefers to stall for the moment though.

Limoncello digs a right hand into Angle's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Angle's gas tank.

Angle is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Limoncello pulls him back up using the underhooks.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Limoncello throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Angle blocks it with crossed arms.

Horrible takedown by Angle or perhaps it was just good defense by Limoncello which made him look bad.
Angle looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
