The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martel misses with a series of wild punches.
Martel throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Diaz manages to break the clinch.
Martel connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Dwayne Martel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A chopping leg kick lands by Martel.

Richards takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Richards looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Richards takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Oooh a lovely combination from Torje sends Richards down but not out. Torje dives into side control looking to finish.

It looks like Mike Richards has been cut.
Torje moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
