The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

King bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
King in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
King grinds an elbow into silva's temple.
silva is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked King off and has taken his back!
King manages to reverse the position and now he's in silva's guard. Nice work there by King.
King seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
King stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.
King working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, King cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Holm has Riot V pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Holm pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Riot V tumbling to the mat - Holm dives into Riot V's guard.

Riot V closes the distance and clinches up with Holm, looking for a takedown. Riot V pushes Holm against the cage but Holm circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Riot V had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Holm is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Riot V Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Holm's back instead.

Riot V has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Holm is in real trouble here. Riot V gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Holm is tapping out! Riot V wins by rear naked choke!
