The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ridley blocks a head kick by Green.
Green throws a head kick but Ridley moves out of range.
Green pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Ridley moves out of range of the body kick from Green.
Ridley avoids the head kick by Green.
Green looks to land a left hand but Ridley moved out of range nicely.

Green shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Green showed some decent athleticism there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ridley gets back to full guard.
Ridley wants to stand and escape but Green is having none of it.

Ridley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Green doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Green manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Green has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Green is fighting to break Ridley's control of his arms but Ridley is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Green has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Ridley to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Green is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Ridley pulls down on the head and he's put Green to sleep! This one is all over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taylor looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Smith shoots for a takedown but Taylor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Smith stuffs the takedown attempt from Taylor. Taylor gets slowly back to his feet.
Smith slips a jab and a cross from Taylor.
