Itz has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Itz throws a strike but Stanley rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Itz misses with a takedown attempt - Stanley sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Stanley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Itz's waist but Itz gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stanley off to one side.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Itz pulls Stanley in close to his closed guard and prevents Stanley from doing any damage or advancing position.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Stanley won't allow Itz to pass to mount.
Stanley is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Itz scores with a couple of nice shots.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Itz lands a nice short elbow.

Itz uses his free foot to push down on Stanley's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Stanley.
It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

Itz lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Itz sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Itz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Itz softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Stanley is out cold! Itz jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
