The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
cage jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A cross from cage lands.
cage throws out a loose jab but Can uses good head movement to avoid it.
cage ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Can moves away.
cage stuffs the takedown.
Can takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Can shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has cage pinned against the cage. cage gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Can checks the leg kick nicely there.
Can scores with a body shot.
Can with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling cage to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Tomato Can has been cut.
cage throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Can bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
cage throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
cage fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Can on the side of the head.
cage looks to throw the jab but Can is out of range.

Can bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
cage pushes Can away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Can gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Can is trying to get an arm triangle but cage is defending well.
cage wants to get back to his feet but Can drags him back down.
Can wants to lay and pray for a moment but cage keeps working.
Check out the look on Can's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Can moves into full mount!
Can throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Can trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Can is going olschool here, as he tries to force cage to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so cage shrugs it off.
cage is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Can lands a big shot there that rocks cage but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
cage's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Can won't let cage get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
cage is breathing heavily.

Can with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
cage really wants to buck Can off and get back to his feet.

Can working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Can can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as cage is looking to escape.
Can lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

cage moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Good standup being displayed there by cage as he connects with a hook.
cage cracks Can with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
cage throws a series of strikes that have Can backpedaling.
