I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jamal Harrision was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson is looking to clinch but Harrision is avoiding it.
Johnson fails to land with a series of punches.

Harrision closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Harrision lands in his opponent's guard.

Johnson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Harrision is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Johnson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Harrision's back instead.

Johnson looking to break Harrision's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Harrision remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Johnson will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Harrision shoots in and bounces Johnson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Johnson has his foot on Harrision's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Harrision works his way back into a safe position though.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Harrision accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Harrision closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Harrision wants to pass to mount but Johnson is defending the position.

Johnson is pressing down on Harrision's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Johnson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Harrision gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Harrision throws and elbow that misses. Johnson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Harrision's guard. Nice move by Johnson!

Stevenson looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Bastard takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Bastard ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bastard no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Bastard has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Stevenson should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Bastard has tightened it up now! Stevenson should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Madrox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Flanery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Madrox comes to the cage accompanied by Probka by Intars Busulis. Flanery comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Dropkick Murphys - The Dirty Glass kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Madrox wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
