The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gardner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
The fighters circling - Jones throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Lance Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gardner shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jones is trying to maintain the position but Gardner is very close to passing his half guard.

Gardner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gardner doesn't have the hooks in and Jones manages to turn into his guard.

Bob knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wuzz on the ground.

Wuzz is working for a submission of some sort.
