Souffrant's entrance music is Nitro - Freight Train Solo. A fine choice. Maximillion Souffrant had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Alexs with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Stone to score with a decent uppercut.
Stone throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Alexs.
Alexs takes a swing at Stone's ribcage but misses.
Stone misses with an uppercut. Alexs saw that one coming.
Stone rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alexs moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alexs shoots in for a double leg but Stone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Alexs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Stone feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Alexs's calf.
Stone throws a leg kick but Alexs checks it.
A cross from Stone lands.
Stone feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Alexs sprawling to the canvas! Alexs rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Stone finish him?!

Alexs is rocked!

It looks like Rocky Alexs has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Stone engages and cracks Alexs with a massive lead left hook - Alexs tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Stone is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
