Pain shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Phenomenon as he avoids it easily.
Phenomenon loads up on a big right hand but Pain slips the punch.
Phenomenon misses the jab.
Pain closes the distance and clinches up with Phenomenon, looking for a takedown. Pain pushes Phenomenon against the cage but Phenomenon circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Pain throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Pain shoots in looking for a takedown. Phenomenon tries to sprawl out of it but Pain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Phenomenon manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Pain. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice straight punches there by Phenomenon. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Phenomenon.

It looks like Max Pain has been cut.
Pain throws a sloppy head kick and Phenomenon moves out of range easily.
Pain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Pain switches off momentarily and Phenomenon cracks him with a monster right hand! Pain topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Phenomenon dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Phenomenon!
