Turolla walks into a stiff left hand from Silva.
Turolla looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Silva throws a series of punches but Turolla avoids them all with ease.
BOOM! Silva lands a beautiful left hook that drops Turolla. Turolla tries to recover but Silva is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Turolla lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Norris tries to clinch up.

and Norris counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Balboa off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Norris follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Balboa was out before he hit the floor.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sub Zero!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Albert Fish!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fish tries to bum rush Zero with a series of wild strikes but Zero uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Zero is defended easily by Fish.
Zero ducks straight into an uppercut from Fish and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Zero maanges to regain guard straight away.

Zero is rocked!

It looks like Sub Zero has been cut.
Zero keeping moving, preventing Fish from controlling successfully.
Fish stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Zero swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Zero will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Fish wants to get up but he can't break Zero's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Fish trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Fish wants to control from the top but Zero keeps moving.

Zero is looking to sinch up a triangle. Fish throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Zero's body to avoid the submission. Zero has instead reached around Fish's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Zero arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Sub Zero!
Sub Zero retains his middleweight title!
