Nockchev tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nockchev misses with a head kick.
Meridius throws a hook but Nockchev avoids it easily.

Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Meridius throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nockchev on the side of the head.

It looks like Vitali Nockchev has been cut.
Meridius drops Nockchev with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nockchev looks back up at him and smiles so Meridius waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Nockchev is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Meridius is looking to score with low kicks.
Nockchev chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Meridius can pounce on him.
Meridius fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nockchev looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Nockchev is breathing heavily.
Meridius comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Meridius throws an uppercut from hell that sends Nockchev clean off his feet! He's out cold! Meridius stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.

Lawler drops Tossavainen with a right and a left! Lawler comes rushing in but Tossavainen regains his composure and manages to keep Lawler in guard.

That was a close fourth round but I would say that Djordje Petrovic will probably get the nod.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Caerdinn takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Caerdinn is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Alves.

It looks like Brent Caerdinn has been cut.
Caerdinn throws a jab when Alves was well out of range.
Alves misses with a head kick.
Alves gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Caerdinn.
Caerdinn clobbers Alves with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Alves seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Caerdinn shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Alves is backing up but Caerdinn catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Alves covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Caerdinn Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
