Quinlan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Robertson looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Jones stuns Wayne with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jones misses with a series of wild punches.
Jones throws a right and a left that both miss.
Wayne takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Wayne shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Jones manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Wayne is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That was a close round but I would say that Gi Jones will probably get the nod.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Jones works over Wayne's head and body with a nice combination.
Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wayne throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Jones counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Wayne down! Jones is looking to finish but Wayne is intelligently defending himself.

Wayne is rocked!

Jones gets to his feet - Wayne follows without any prompting.
Wayne is still on wobbly legs! Can Jones finish him?
Jones throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Wayne seems to have recovered his senses.
Jones throws a hook but Wayne avoids it easily.
Jones looks to score with a jab to the body but Wayne is just out of range.
Wayne shoots and misses
and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Wayne will be more careful next time no doubt.
Jones misses with a hook. Wayne ducked under it nicely.
Wayne has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jones finds it's way round the side to connect with Wayne's head.

Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Wayne is breathing heavily.
Wayne staying out of range there.
Jones doesn't manage to clinch there - Wayne circles away.
Wayne takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jones throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Wayne colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Jones as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Wayne is left battered and dazed whilst Jones and his camp cheer!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gi Jones!
