Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boom Pow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Evans has chosen I need Scissors! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

It looks like Boom Pow has been cut.
Pow looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Pow has a takedown stuffed.
Evans will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Pow has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Evans pushes Pow up against the ropes in a clinch.

Evans breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Some wild striking there from Evans.

Evans closes the distance and clinches.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Evans lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Evans's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Evans cracks Pow on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Pow falls backwards against the ropes. Evans follows up with more strikes that drop Pow to his knees. Evans keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Pow! This one is all over!

James has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Jacobsen is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for James.
