The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McCarthy tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hatmake paws at him with a jab and circles away.
McCarthy gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hatmake.
Hatmake throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
McCarthy fails with an attempt to clinch.
McCarthy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Hatmake's waist but Hatmake gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McCarthy off to one side.
McCarthy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Hatmake thumps McCarthy with a low kick.
Tyler McCarthy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCarthy shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hatmake connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
McCarthy misses with a takedown attempt - Hatmake sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A big strike lands for Hatmake! That's really hurt McCarthy and he's turned his back - Hatmake keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Hatmake Jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Tszyu closes the distance and clinches up with Graveston, looking for a takedown. Tszyu pushes Graveston against the cage but Graveston circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
