The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rock drops his hands momentarily and Ray takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Rock shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ray pinned against the cage. Ray gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and Rock counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rock wants to pass the guard but Ray is keeping the position.
