Hands tries to clinch but Marquez moves out of range.
Hands closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marquez circles away.

and Hands counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Hands has gone for a leg lock! Marquez slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hands's guard.

Marquez stands and throws Hands's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Marquez is working to tighten is grip on Hands's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Hands has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Marquez is really squeezing tight and eventually Hands passes out! Marquez breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

I hate Everything about you kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stomping tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes.

Liddell turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Stomping off and cradles Liddell's limp body as Stomping celebrates with his corner.
