The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drosen shoots for a double leg takedown but Copeland jr sprawls well. He's pushed Drosen's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Copeland jr is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Drosen's half guard.

Drosen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Drosen had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Copeland jr is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Drosen Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Copeland jr's back instead.

Robinson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Robinson cracks Valentino with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Robinson has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Valentino to stand back up!

It looks like Bobby Valentino has been cut.
Robinson moves in close and cracks Valentino with a massive right hand! Valentino, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Robinson!

Davis wants to stand but Thompson is controlling his arm.

Thompson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Davis was covering up waiting for the punch and Thompson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Harrison is defended easily by Micozzi.
Harrison moves in looking to clinch but Micozzi pushes him off.
Micozzi leaves Harrison with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Micozzi changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Harrison looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Harrison is not content to let Micozzi control the position.
Micozzi tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Harrison parries the strikes from Micozzi easily there. Micozzi is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Harrison to escape.
Micozzi tries to score with some ground and pound. Harrison controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Micozzi has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Harrison is trying to get back to half guard.

Micozzi has an Americana. Harrison didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Micozzi is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Micozzi hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

I think Wasswa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to assassin muse. That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Robbie Collins.
