Taiga thows a body shot but no joy.
Taiga slips a jab from Furstenfeld.
Taiga cracks Furstenfeld with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Furstenfeld looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Taiga finish him?
Taiga ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Furstenfeld's jaw. Furstenfeld's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Taiga does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Prime connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Battery momentarily.
Prime dips to his left and cracks Battery with an uppercut!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prime lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Prime throws a series of punches but Battery avoids them all with ease.
Prime throws a right and a left that both miss.
Battery defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Prime.
Prime misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prime is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Battery has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Battery there as he acknowledges the shot.

Aggravated Battery's cut is getting worse.
Battery slips a straight right by Prime.

Prime tries to keep at a distance but Battery has taken the fight into the clinch.
Battery goes for a takedown in the clinch but Prime prevents it.

Battery has picked Prime up - he's going for a ride! Battery dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Battery seems to be working for a kimura but Prime defends the submission attempt.

Battery is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Prime defends it well.

Battery prevents Prime from improving his position.
Prime makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Prime.
Battery trying to control but Prime is working from the bottom.

Battery is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prime looking to hit a scissor sweep but Battery is one step ahead there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Battery postures up in Prime's guard and throws a big left but Prime blocks it.
Prime wants to sweep but no luck.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Battery shoots in for a takedown but Prime shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Prime throws an overhand right that lands on Battery's shoulder, as Battery tries to avoid the shot.

Battery gets the takedown into side control.
Prime looks gassed!
Prime tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Battery working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Battery tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Battery has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Battery wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Prime, who protects the arm well.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Battery laying and praying for a moment but Prime takes advantage and regains half guard.
Prime throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Battery is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Prime defends it well.
Prime manages to get to full guard.
Prime is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Battery is pressing down on Prime's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Battery had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Prime is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Battery Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Prime's back instead.
Battery doesn't have the hooks in and Prime manages to turn into his guard.

Battery escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Prime gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Prime wants to control from the top but Battery keeps moving.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Prime accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Battery looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Battery has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Prime doesn't defend quickly enough and Battery has managed to lock this one up! Can Prime escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Battery on a fantastic submission victory.

McGee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tomas tries a head kick but it misses.
Tomas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
McGee pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Murphy McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tomas takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
McGee throws a wild body kick that Tomas sees coming a mile off.
McGee showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tomas.
McGee throws a head kick that misses.
McGee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
McGee scoring well with a low kick there.
McGee is looking to clinch.
McGee slips a jab from Tomas.
Tomas connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Tomas rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McGee moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nice combo by Tomas! Oh, that's hurt him - McGee falls to the canvas and Tomas follows him into side control.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Tomas scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh McGee is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Tomas can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
