The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Lou da Vinci and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Foster throws the kick towards the body but Miller avoids it.
Foster displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Miller.

Miller shoots in and bounces Foster off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Foster swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Foster trying to control the position.
Miller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Foster escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller drops back looking for a leg! Foster is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Foster manages to kick Miller off! Miller jumps back into Foster's guard.
Miller wants to control from the top but Foster keeps moving.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Foster tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Foster has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Foster's legs - danger averted.

Miller is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Miller decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Miller drives through and clinches with Foster against the cage.
Miller lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Foster tries to circle away but Miller has him pinned against the cage.

Miller turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Miller manages to end up in side control.
Foster tries to buck Miller off but Miller is having none of it.

Foster is working to avoid the ground and pound but Miller connects with a decent elbow.
Foster tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Miller remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Miller decides to stand back up. Miller steps back and let's Foster get back to his feet.
Foster tries to bum rush Miller with a series of wild strikes but Miller uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

James Miller showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

I really don't envy Davis right now.

You can see the frustration on Davis's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Davis refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Davis's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Gregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ray Caletree (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ray Caletree struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 157.5lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Ray Caletree told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Caletree fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Caletree crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Gregor - the referee stops the clock and Caletree gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Gregor. Caletree manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Gregor throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Torremolinos has chosen Dont Stop Believing as his entrance music. Stoner McWeeder had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 157.9lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds.
