Tan throws a head kick but Walker moves out of range.
Tan tries a head kick but it misses.

Tan gets caught flat footed, as Walker shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Tan had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Walker is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tan Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Walker's back instead.
Walker manages to reverse the position and now he's in Tan's guard. Nice work there by Walker.

Flipper shoots in and drives through. Ruoff sprawls well.
Ruoff has his takedown stuffed

and Flipper counters by moving into the clinch.
Flipper goes for a takedown in the clinch but Ruoff prevents it.
Ruoff tries to pull guard but Flipper holds him up against the cage and eventually Ruoff drops back down to his feet.
Ruoff changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Flipper fights it off and pushes away nicely.
James Flipper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Ruoff.
Ruoff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Flipper moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nicolas Cage.
