The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Naciamento closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Naciamento is working for a kimura but Kona is defending it quite comfortably.

Naciamento is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Kona has managed to free his arm - good work.

Naciamento wants to work for an arm triangle but Kona is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Naciamento seems to be looking for submissions.

Naciamento is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kona is just riding it out for now. Naciamento eventually gives up the hold.

Kona is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Naciamento pulls his head out easily.

Naciamento postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kona is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Naciamento, into his guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Kona trying to control the position from guard on top but Naciamento is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Kona drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Naciamento dives on top into guard.

Naciamento drops back, looking for a kneebar! Kona looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Kona looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Kona!
Kona lands an elbow.

Kona trying to control the action but Naciamento is working from the bottom.
Naciamento is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kona asserts his dominance and retains side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shevchenko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Paul was covering up waiting for the punch and Shevchenko finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Paul keeping moving, preventing Shevchenko from controlling successfully.
Paul pulls Shevchenko in to control the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Paul tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Shevchenko stops Paul from standing up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Shevchenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Paul is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Paul on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Paul tries to get out of the position.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Shevchenko darts in and clinches Paul up against the cage.

Paul pulls guard effortlessly.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Shevchenko accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Shevchenko wants to stand but Paul has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Paul seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Paul feints and as Shevchenko raises his hands in defense, Paul changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Shevchenko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Paul is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Shevchenko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Paul's back instead.

Shevchenko doesn't have the hooks in and Paul manages to turn into his guard.

Paul tries to free his leg and advance position but Shevchenko is retaining full guard.

Paul drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Paul jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Paul got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shevchenko has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Paul has managed to get both his arms back between Shevchenko's legs - danger averted.
Paul is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Paul content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Shevchenko controls Paul momentarily but Paul frees himself.
Shevchenko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Shevchenko escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Paul gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Shevchenko bounces back off the cage towards Paul, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Paul lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Paul celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

Drosey shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Baley as he jumps to the side.
Drosey moves out of range as Baley strikes.
Drosey is looking to clinch.
Baley swings for the body but Drosey moves out of range.
Baley doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Baley misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drosey.
Baley throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Baley missing with a left hand there. Drosey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Drosey's corner calls for a 1-2. Drosey obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Drosey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Baley.

Drosey lands a left and a right that send Baley crashing to the mat, dazed. Drosey thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like Paul Baley has been cut.
Drosey tries to close the distance and clinch but Baley swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Baley is still on wobbly legs! Can Drosey finish him?
Drosey throws a right and a left that Baley avoids nicely.
Baley swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Drosey counters with a huge right that knocks Baley out cold! Drosey is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
