Neto on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.

It looks like Pedro Neto has been cut.

and Neto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
VanPummel tries to bum rush Neto with a series of wild strikes but Neto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Neto thuds his right hand into VanPummel's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

No joy there for VanPummel, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

VanPummel lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Neto can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from VanPummel and Neto drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by VanPummel.

king rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oris moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Oris lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but king circles away quickly and effectively.
king shoots for a takedown but Oris saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Sotiropoulos feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hood shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Grape as he jumps to the side.
Grape missing with a left hand there. Hood was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Hood fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Grape closes the distance and clinches.
Grape tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hood's elbow.

Grape turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Grape manages to end up in side control.
Grape works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

Hood is rocked!

It looks like Robin Hood has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grape scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Hood is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Grape can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

Bogard throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Atalla's waist but Atalla gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bogard off to one side.
Atalla tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bogard shoots in looking for a takedown. Atalla tries to sprawl out of it but Bogard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Atalla manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Both fighters circling a little - Atalla finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

Atalla plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Atalla throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Atalla lands with a kick to the temple. Bogard shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Bogard is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Atalla scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Atalla connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Bogard! He's out on his feet! Atalla rushes in and drops Bogard with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
