Horrible takedown by Rogers or perhaps it was just good defense by Cole which made him look bad.
Cole slaps away a takedown attempt from Rogers, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Alex Cole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rogers throws a right hand that Cole ducks under and follows up with a left that Cole also avoids with ease.
Cole comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Cole ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Rogers's jaw. Rogers's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Cole does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
