The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swagger lands a big head kick that sends Jaxzon tumbling to the mat! Swagger takes a step backwards and waves Jaxzon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Swagger doesn't manage to clinch there - Jaxzon circles away.

Swagger moves in looking to clinch but Jaxzon pushes him off.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Tanishk Soni.

Hudson fails with a takedown attempt.
Hudson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maxwell tries to avoid it but Hudson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maxwell to the ground. Maxwell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Maxwell lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Maxwell.

Maxwell pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Hudson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Maxwell cracks Hudson with an open hand slap.
Maxwell throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hudson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Maxwell lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Maxwell is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

Hudson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
