The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sargeant ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kisaragi moves away.

Sargeant closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Kisaragi manages to get back to half guard.

Sargeant seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kisaragi does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Kisaragi is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Kisaragi pulls Sargeant in close to his closed guard and prevents Sargeant from doing any damage or advancing position.
