The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Santos shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hansen but Hansen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Hansen missing with a left hand there. Dos Santos was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Dos Santos uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hansen.

Malone feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Mine crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

Hughizzle is stalling here. Thompson is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Hughizzle seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Thompson has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

No joy there for Bass, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sea Bass seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bass wants to clinch up but Jones keeps it at a distance.
Jones lands a two punch combo.

It looks like Sea Bass has been cut.
Jones lands the left hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Jones uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bass.

Jones drops Bass with a nice combination! Jones dives into Bass's guard, looking to finish!

Bass wants to control but Jones passes easily into half guard.

Bass seems to have recovered his senses.

Bass tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.
Jones misses with a straight right.
Bass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Jones sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Jones throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Jones fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tyrone Jones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bass throws the left hand but Jones avoids the punch easily.
Jones lands a jab.
Bass shoots for a takedown but Jones saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bass doesn't seem phased though.
Bass shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones throws a hook but Bass avoids it easily.

Bass is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Jones throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bass stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Jones moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
The fighters circle momentarily. Jones darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Jones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Sea Bass's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Jones lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Jones lands with a shot to the body.
Bass tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
