James has chosen Prodigy- Breathe as his entrance music. Grigor Borisov had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 187.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tarasov is looking to clinch.
Tarasov is looking to score with low kicks.
Tarasov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tarasov feints and then cracks Crosby's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Crosby down.
Crosby shoots for a double leg takedown but Tarasov sprawls well. He's pushed Crosby's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Tarasov closes the distance and clinches.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Crosby wants a takedown.
Tarasov lands with a left to the head.
Crosby drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Tarasov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Demitri Tarasov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kevin Crosby.

Crosby is looking to sinch up a triangle. Tarasov throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Crosby's body to avoid the submission. Crosby has instead reached around Tarasov's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Crosby arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
VanWinkle is trying to stand up here but Pigg is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pigg thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Pigg thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing VanWinkle to regain full guard.
Pigg is looking to work some ground and pound but VanWinkle has wrist control.

Pigg has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

It looks like Juice Pigg has been cut.
VanWinkle cracks a nice hook into Pigg's ribs.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

VanWinkle drops Pigg with a beautiful combination! Pigg stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - VanWinkle is looking for the KO!

Pigg seems to have got his legs back now.
VanWinkle fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Pigg to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Pigg looks to clinch but VanWinkle throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Pigg taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
