The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A left lands for Trager.
Toet tries to clinch up but Trager circles away and keeps his distance.
Trager lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Toet throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Trager on the side of the head.
Trager works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Toet misses with a body kick.

Trager drives through with a takedown into guard.
Trager stands up over Toet, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Trager has cracked Toet with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Trager lands another huge swinging hook and Toet tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Toet, before Trager can land any more shots!

White throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Smith was covering up waiting for the punch and White finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Smith is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and White defends well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
