Nordhoj pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Ribbler wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Nordhoj looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Ribbler feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Hearns rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Krueger moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hearns throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Krueger.

Hearns is desperately trying to improve his position but Krueger has a good base and remains in mount.

Hearns is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Freddy Krueger will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Hearns looks to land a left hand but Krueger moved out of range nicely.

and Hearns counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krueger lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
BOOM! Krueger connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The referee warns Hearns that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Krueger wants to control the pace but Hearns is squirming around nicely.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hearns can do anything to dispel that myth.

Krueger jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hearns manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Hearns pushes Krueger away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Krueger gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Hearns dodges the ground and pound from Krueger.
Krueger tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Hearns can't do much from the bottom here.

Krueger goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hearns has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Krueger but great work by Hearns.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Krueger tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hearns wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Hearns tries to bum rush Krueger with a series of wild strikes but Krueger uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Krueger takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Hearns paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hearns connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Krueger tumbling to the canvas! Hearns pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Krueger was done - good stoppage!
