Ri throws out a loose jab but Vaulen uses good head movement to avoid it.
Vaulen tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ri swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vaulen avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Ri misses with the combination.
Ri throws a hook but Vaulen avoids it easily.

Ri dances in with a quick combination. Vaulen is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Ri snaps Vaulen's head back. Vaulen stumbles backwards against the cage. Ri steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Vaulen's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Vaulen just didn't come prepared.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Cornwall crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hazlitt - the referee stops the clock and Cornwall gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hazlitt. Cornwall manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Hazlitt fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cornwall looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cornwall clinches up with Hazlitt and pushes him back against the cage.
Cornwall fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hazlitt is working for takedown but Cornwall is calmly controlling the position for now.
Hazlitt drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cornwall gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

No joy there for Trombone, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Trombone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Taylor stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rusty Trombone seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trombone dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Taylor. That did some damage!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Taylor shoots and misses

Well Trombone has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
