The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Truth looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Truth doesn't manage to clinch there - de Rijger circles away.

de Rijger closes the distance and clinches.
de Rijger throws a knee to the head but misses.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by de Rijger as Truth tries to tie him up.
de Rijger is pressed up against the ropes. Truth has hold of a leg and is looking to drag de Rijger down to the mat. de Rijger avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
de Rijger lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Truth fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Truth.
Julian de Rijger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Babe Truth.
Truth shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says de Rijger as he avoids it easily.
Truth changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. de Rijger tries to avoid it but Truth manages to keep hold of a leg and drag de Rijger to the ground. de Rijger escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
