After initially coming in at 136.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mini Bard!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Killer Murderer!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paul Aken and Saam Ante.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murderer shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bard but Bard pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Mini Bard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bard scores with a jab to the body.

Murderer throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bard was covering up waiting for the punch and Murderer finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Bard wants to stand and escape but Murderer is having none of it.

Murderer has gone for a leg lock! Bard slips out almost immediately though and dives into Murderer's guard.
Bard has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Murderer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bard doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bard manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Murderer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Bard can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Murderer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Bard is aware though and is defending well.
Bard would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Murderer is working an open guard so Bard takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Bard will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Murderer shoots for a double leg takedown but Bard sprawls well. He's pushed Murderer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Murderer takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

It looks like Killer Murderer has been cut.

Bard lands a big uppercut and Murderer crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Murderer looks OK. Bard waves Murderer back to his feet!

Murderer is rocked!
Murderer will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Murderer is still on wobbly legs! Can Bard finish him?
Mini Bard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Killer Murderer.
Bard throws a shot to the body.
Murderer looks gassed!
