The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mir drops Penn with a beautiful combination! Penn stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Mir is looking for the KO!

Penn is rocked!

It looks like George Penn has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mir throws a sloppy head kick and Penn moves out of range easily.
Penn is still on wobbly legs! Can Mir finish him?
Penn misses with a takedown attempt - Mir sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Penn seems to have recovered his senses.
Mir tried to score with a low kick but Penn checks it.

Mir really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Mir sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Penn's defenses. It connects perfectly with Penn's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
