Dwan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Zimmerman is looking to improve his position but Dwan isn't that keen on the idea.

Dwan fails to advance to Zimmerman's back.

Dwan is going olschool here, as he tries to force Zimmerman to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Zimmerman shrugs it off.
Zimmerman tries to hold on but Dwan postures up.
Zimmerman is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Zimmerman reaches up to try and control the position but Dwan seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Zimmerman rolls and tries to escape and now Dwan has his back!
Dwan is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Zimmerman trying to control the hands but Dwan breaks the grip.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Dwan biding his time, looking for the opening.
Zimmerman is trying to break free.
Zimmerman is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Dwan is not going to allow Zimmerman to sit and survive in this position.
Zimmerman wants to escape the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zimmerman trying to control the action but Dwan just sinks the hooks in.
Zimmerman tries to roll but Dwan sticks to his back.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Dwan lands a high kick!

Zimmerman moves into the clinch successfully.

Dwan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dwan fails to land with a series of punches.
Dwan shoots for a double leg takedown but Zimmerman sprawls well. He's pushed Dwan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Dwan cracks Zimmerman with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Dwan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Dwan misses with a straight right.
Zimmerman wants to slow Dwan down by chopping away at his legs.
Crunch! Dwan slams his shin into Zimmerman's torso.
Dwan doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Zimmerman counters by moving into the clinch.

Dwan digs a right hand underneath Zimmerman's ribcage. Zimmerman let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Dwan tries to break free but Zimmerman pushes him back against the cage.
Dwan misses with a punch to the body.

Zimmerman has picked Dwan up - he's going for a ride! Zimmerman dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Dwan is not content to let Zimmerman control the position.
Zimmerman scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Dwan wants to control but Zimmerman is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Dwan tries to roll over but Zimmerman keeps him under control.

Zimmerman is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Zimmerman works his foot free and advances to mount.
Dwan tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Zimmerman landing punches.
Dwan is desperately trying to improve his position but Zimmerman has a good base and remains in mount.
Dwan is squirming around, avoiding Zimmerman's attempts to control the action.
