The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powers swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Powers swats away the attempt to clinch by Cabrera.
Powers blocks a head kick by Cabrera.
Powers takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Powers will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Raul Cabrera seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Powers closes the distance and clinches.

Powers escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Powers throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cabrera clinches but Powers breaks the clinch
and Powers counters with a nice low kick that buckles Cabrera's knee momentarily.

A right-left combo lands from Powers.
Cabrera takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Powers shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cabrera napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Powers wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cabrera keeps working.

Powers tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Powers has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Cabrera manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Cabrera is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Powers scores with a couple of nice shots.

Powers is working for a kimura but Cabrera is defending it quite comfortably.

Powers seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Powers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cabrera has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Powers has managed to get both his arms back between Cabrera's legs - danger averted.

Cabrera has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Powers doesn't defend quickly enough and Cabrera has managed to lock this one up! Can Powers escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cabrera on a fantastic submission victory.

Jackson had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Kael is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jackson Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Kael's back instead.
Jackson doesn't have the hooks in and Kael manages to turn into his guard.
Kael tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard.

Supreme drops back, looking for a kneebar! Player looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Player looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Player!
