The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wilson shoots for a takedown but Bigsnake saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Bigsnake closes the distance and clinches.
Wilson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bigsnake pulls his leg out and moves away.

Bigsnake gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wilson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Wilson wants to pass the guard but Bigsnake is keeping the position.
Wilson stands up over Bigsnake, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bigsnake wants to stand and escape but Wilson is having none of it.

The fighters circle, before Mcnichol throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Jackson's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mcnichol lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Black (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billiam Ford (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Black comes to the cage accompanied by Jedward - Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby). Billiam Ford told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Black pushes Ford up against the cage in a clinch.
Black is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Ford is defending well for now.
Black crunches a lovely knee into Ford's ribcage.

Black has picked Ford up - he's going for a ride! Black dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.

Black wants to work for an arm triangle but Ford is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Black controlling the action here.
Black is trying to control the action in half guard but Ford is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Black not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Ford trying to hold on to Black's head to control him but Black postures up.

Black is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Ford has managed to free his arm - good work.
Black throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Ford closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Ford lands in his opponent's guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Black holds on and takes a little breather.
Black lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Ford!
Black wants to control the pace but Ford is squirming around nicely.
Ford wants to hold on but Black pushes him away.
Black lands with some strikes.
Black tries to control but Ford wriggling away.

Black swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Ford is now in Black's guard. A big mistake from Black there, giving up the dominant position!
Black wants to sweep but no luck.
Black is trying to hold Ford in close to prevent damage but Ford has managed to pass into half guard.
Black controlling the position for now.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Black trying to control but Ford postures up.
Black gets back to full guard.

Black has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ford can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Black looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Black pulls Ford in close to prevent any damage.
Black trying to keep a closed guard but Ford is proving a slippery customer.
Ford stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Black swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Black is on top in guard.
Black trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Black working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Black has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Ford has momentary wrist control but Black slips an elbow through the middle.
Black trying to control the position from guard on top but Ford is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Black trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Black is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Black is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ford is looking to break free of the clinch but Black has double underhooks.
Black unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Ford is breathing heavily.

Black pulls guard effortlessly.
Ford wants to get up but he can't break Black's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Black tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Black is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Black looking for a triangle here. Ford is fighting it but it looks tight! Black pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Ford is tapping out - this one is all over!
