Soomers slips a jab and a cross from Guarino.
Guarino shoots in but no luck this time.

Soomers throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Guarino was covering up waiting for the punch and Soomers finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Guarino working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Soomers doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Soomers manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Guarino can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Soomers controls the pace.
Soomers tries to free his leg and advance position but Guarino is retaining full guard.

Guarino isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Soomers stacks Guarino on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Soomers!
Soomers has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Soomers is looking to take a break and control but Guarino is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Soomers in particular looking to stall.
